What I’m Loving Lately.

Happy Friday Y’all!

Since my post on Monday was SO focused on my training in the blog, I missed out on sharing a lot of fun non-training stuff with you all. To compensate for that, I decided to pop in here with a special Friday post of a list of what I’ve been enjoying (besides swimming, biking and running)!

This pillow//

I saw this on a fellow blogger’s Instagram account and now I’m on a mission to find one… (so if you know where to get one, let me know!)

(OR if you’re looking for an amazing and unique birthday gift to get me… my birthday is in June….)

Etsy.com//

I love browsing this website. So many unique items, perfect for finding unique jewelry, homemade gifts, and other items! (Also, see pillow above… found a few that come close, but not quite what I’m looking for!)

A finished project//

Thanks to an amazing friend, the quilt that I started this fall and has been sitting 90% complete since December has finally been finished! It’s amazing and my friend is even more amazing – it’s the second real quilt I’ve made and the first that I’ve had professionally quilted!

….annnnd since it has been 15 years since the first quilt I made, I wouldn’t expect another until about 15 years from now….

My Jeep//

I admit, this isn’t my Jeep, but I LOVE the tire cover and I’m on the hunt for where this one came from. My cousin sent me this picture, and while I usually don’t “girl” my vehicles up, I think I’m ready to make an exception!

This Playlist//

I’ve been having a bit of 90’s Nostalgia this week. Not sure what brought it on, but I had a lot of fun putting this list together & rocking out to tunes from my high school years while driving all over NY and PA the past few days!

These Roads//

Alright, so this last one has a bit to do with training, but whatever. That’s a gigantic part of my life right now! I’ve really enjoyed spending time in the country where I grew up – running and biking miles and miles, soaking in the scenery, thinking about life and achieving new milestones. Life is good.

The Official Start of Race Season//

I’m running the Seneca 7 on Sunday! This is a great race to start the season off with because it’s not even a real race! It’s a relay with 7 people where we run all the way around Seneca Lake – we did this race last year wearing tutu’s and kilts in remembrance of those in Boston who were victims of the bombings. It was a great day with lots of laughs and fun for the whole team.

I’m really looking forward to running again this year – our team is going to dress up as Captain Planet – so shenanigans will be in order again! Annnnd my character may or may not bust out a purple tutu. Just sayin’ – you have to have fun while running. Otherwise what is the point?! (Plus it’s super fun to blow past dudes while wearing a tutu…)

Ok, now your turn!

What have you been loving lately?  I’d love to hear about it!

Cheers!
